Terms of service
The rules for using PONSUM, written to be read.
Effective 12 September 2026
1. Agreement
These terms apply to your use of PONSUM: the website at ponsum.app, the app at ponsum.app/app, the verify page and the reports they produce. By using PONSUM you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
2. What PONSUM is
PONSUM is software. It reads public data from Robinhood Chain, classifies activity, estimates values and tax figures under the settings you choose, and builds reports. Some features use the PONSUM registry, a smart contract on Robinhood Chain, to record plans, wallet links, accountant access and report anchors.
3. Not tax, legal or financial advice
PONSUM is software, not tax advice. Check your local rules or ask an accountant. Nothing on the site, in the app, in a report or in a guide is tax, legal, accounting or investment advice, and using PONSUM does not create an adviser or accountant relationship. Tax rules differ between countries, change over time and depend on your circumstances. You are responsible for your tax filings and for the decisions you make.
4. Your responsibilities
- Check the classifications, prices and settings behind any report before you rely on it, and correct anything that is wrong.
- Make sure the information you add, such as manual transactions and prices, is accurate.
- Keep your own copies of reports and workspace exports. Browser storage can be cleared, and PONSUM does not keep a copy of your workspace.
- Use PONSUM only where it is lawful for you to do so, and only if you are old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
5. Wallets and keys
You control your wallet. PONSUM never has access to your private keys or seed phrase and cannot sign anything for you. You are responsible for every transaction and signature you approve, including checking the network, the addresses and the amounts shown in your wallet.
6. Plans and payments
- Plans are bought onchain through the PONSUM registry and paid in ETH on Robinhood Chain, at the price the registry sets at the time of purchase. You also pay the network fee for the transaction.
- A plan belongs to the workspace address it was bought for and unlocks report downloads and anchoring for that workspace for 365 days. Renewals, upgrades and their limits follow the rules built into the registry, which the app explains before you pay.
- Anyone may pay for any workspace. If you pay for someone else, check the workspace address carefully.
- A payment is an onchain transaction. PONSUM cannot reverse it or move it to a different workspace.
- Prices for future purchases may change. A change does not affect a plan already bought.
7. Onchain records
Plan purchases, wallet links, accountant grants and report anchors are recorded on Robinhood Chain. They are public and permanent, and neither you nor PONSUM can remove them. An anchor shows that a report has not changed since it was anchored. It does not show that the report is correct, complete or accepted by any tax authority.
8. Accountants and clients
If you grant an accountant access, or work as an accountant for clients, the arrangement is between you and them. PONSUM provides the tools but is not a party to that relationship and is not responsible for the work either side does.
9. Data and prices
PONSUM relies on public chain data, onchain pool prices and the rules you select. Data can be incomplete or delayed, prices can be missing or misleading in thin markets, and classifications can be wrong for your situation. PONSUM tries to flag these cases in Review, but it cannot guarantee that every figure is accurate.
10. Acceptable use
Please do not misuse PONSUM. In particular, do not overload or automate large volumes of requests against the RPC proxy, try to get around its limits or the site's security, use PONSUM for anything unlawful, or present a report as verified or reviewed when it is not.
11. The $PONSUM coin
$PONSUM is a separate token that is not required to use PONSUM, and plans are paid in ETH. Nothing on the site is an offer to sell it, a promise about its value or a recommendation to buy, hold or sell it or any other asset.
12. Third-party services
PONSUM works alongside services it does not control, including wallets, Robinhood Chain and its RPC endpoint, the block explorer, X and the hosting provider. Their availability and their terms are their own, and PONSUM is not responsible for them. Names and logos of third-party products belong to their owners.
13. Intellectual property
The PONSUM name, brand and software belong to PONSUM. You may use the reports you generate for your own tax and record-keeping purposes, and share them with anyone you choose.
14. No warranty
PONSUM is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, in which case those exclusions apply only as far as the law allows.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PONSUM is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, tax assessments, penalties or interest, or losses caused by wallets, networks, smart contracts or third-party services. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for plans in the twelve months before the claim.
16. Changes
PONSUM may change, add or remove features, and may update these terms. When the terms change, the effective date above changes too. Continuing to use PONSUM after that date means you accept the updated terms.
17. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent as a direct message to @ponsumapp on X. See also the privacy policy.
