Straight answers about taxes on Robinhood Chain.
Every time you sell, swap or spend a token, PONSUM compares what you got for it with what it cost you. The cost comes from earlier purchases, matched by a method your country accepts such as FIFO or average cost. Gas on a sale is added to its cost or taken off its proceeds where your rules say so.
Usually, yes. A sale at a loss is still a disposal, and in many countries losses reduce the tax on your gains or carry forward to later years. PONSUM lists losses next to gains so the net figure is clear, and the Harvest view shows holdings you could sell to realize a loss before the tax year ends.
In most countries it is. Swapping NVDA tokens for USDG, or a launch token for ETH, counts as selling the first token at market value and buying the second at the same value. PONSUM prices both sides from the swap itself or from nearby pool trades.
Robinhood Tokens are onchain tokens that track shares and funds such as NVDA or SPY. PONSUM identifies them by their onchain name, never by ticker alone, because memecoins reuse tickers. Buys start a cost basis and sales or swaps are disposals. Some countries treat tokenized shares differently, so check how yours does.
Yes. Buys and sells on ponsfamily bonding curves are read from the events in each transaction and priced in USD at the block they happened. A launch bought with ETH and sold minutes later shows up as an ordinary short term gain or loss.
Gas is recorded for every transaction you send. Where your country allows it, the fee on a sale is added to its cost or deducted from its proceeds, and other fees are listed in the expenses report. Fees on Robinhood Chain are small, but they add up over thousands of trades.
No. Add every address you control to the same workspace and PONSUM marks transfers between them as self transfers, which are not taxable. The original cost basis and purchase dates travel with the tokens.
PONSUM reads public chain data. You can paste an address without connecting anything, and connecting a wallet only proves it is yours. PONSUM never asks for a seed phrase and cannot move your funds.
Every report has an ID calculated from its contents. Anchoring writes that ID to Robinhood Chain together with the tax year and a fingerprint of the wallets it covers. Anyone can paste the ID on the verify page and confirm the report existed at that time and has not changed since.
Plans are paid in ETH on Robinhood Chain, directly to the PONSUM contract from any wallet. Each plan runs for a year, covers a set number of transactions, and can be bought for your own workspace or for a client’s. See pricing for the tiers.
Yes. Grant your accountant’s wallet access to your workspace onchain and revoke it whenever you like. They can open your data read-only, produce the same reports and anchor them for you.
No. It organizes your onchain activity and applies the rules you pick, while tax law differs between countries and changes over time. PONSUM is software, not tax advice. Check your local rules or ask an accountant.
